A bridge which crosses a major road and splits off into 4 directions in the middle.

 

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?:

Because we want the lead character and followers to split off into different directions at the end of the music video.

Possible litter on the floor. At a big height to fall down from if camera was held over bridge side.

TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPE: Detached house on a quiet close.

 
 

 

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?

Because we wanted to film the young man waking up and heading out of the door in the morning and dancing down the street to Don’t stop by Foster The People.

Nobody as it is a private residence.

Making sure the driveway is clear and to keep a close look out on cars and people going past. If we see them we know they are going to ruin the shot and we will have to reset.

Stairs might be dangerous to carry equipment up and down.

On the stairs and in the bedroom when filming inside the house and on the drive when filming outside the house.

Stairs may be difficult to carry equipment up and down due to the fact they are quite steep and the space is very narrow. (about 2 ft.)
 
 
Tight space in bedroom with all the furniture already in place.
 
 
Filming on the grass outside may be a risk if it is wet and could cause the crew or cast to slip over which could also potentially damage the camera.

TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPE: A quiet street with detached houses on one side and woodlands with a field behind on the other side.

 
 

 

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?: Because we want a man dancing down a quiet street. We do not want to be disturbed while filming as we will be filming on the road.

 
 

 

                   ACCESS

TRANSPORT LINKS TO LOCATION
 
Roads lead to the close and there is local bus stops nearby.
 
 
 
PHYSICAL ACCESS TO SITE
 
There is pathways which lead to different directions and different streets.
 

 

                   GENERAL INFORMATION

People who might impact on or be affected by recording in this location:
People walking or driving past may be caught on camera accidentally. We will need to take precautions to ensure not to film in anybody’s windows.
 
 
Precautions/measures taken to minimise the impact of your recording:
Watch out for possible oncoming cars and move off the street immediately when they are approaching. Also check the surrounding area to ensure people are not in shot and also do not film in private residences houses.

LOCATION ADDRESS: Blackshaw Drive, Warringon

 
 

TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPE: A large open field with several football pitches on and 2 green cabins.

 
 

 

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?: Because we want a crowd of people going through different scenery and their is a narrowing which goes into Woodlands so it is ideal. Also there was no football matches on which made the location ideal for filming.

Pathways on field and through woodland. Also small bridge which goes over stream.

Make sure the background is clear when filming the scenes to ensure nobody is caught in the filming.

4 Football fields for the field and the woodland has a narrow pathway which is approximately 3 metres wide.
 
 
 
Describe any restrictions/hazards in the immediate vicinity:
Some ditches on the floor and stones on the field. Also if it has rained, the grass will be damp and may be slippery.
 
Where will the crew work on this location?
 
On the field next to the porter cabins, and in several parts of the woodland including the opening from field to woodland, the bridge and the pathway.
 
Where will the cast work on this location?
